...Lindsay was acknowledged for her compassionate care when a patient had found out the prognosis was terminal. What was even more heartbreaking was that the patient had a close relative who was a physician, and that physician was powerless against the disease process. While Lindsay had a sense of confidence and worked in the room calmly and quietly that "her eyes told a different story". Her eyes were "filled with compassion, empathy, and sorrow." The family noticed this compassion and wanted to recognize Lindsay for her work.
