Throughout our journey in the ICU, Lindsay has been a constant source of strength and comfort that we so desperately needed.
My husband was in the ICU for 3 weeks. He has been diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome which affected his peripheral nervous system. He was completely paralyzed from the neck down and on a ventilator. This is without a doubt the scariest experience of our lives. We have a one-year-old son at home, and it has been devastating for my husband to be away from him.

Throughout our journey in the ICU, Lindsay has been a constant source of strength and comfort that we so desperately needed. We appreciate her ability to make him feel comfortable both medically and personally. We felt as though we could trust her opinion, her judgment, and the information she provided to us. I had a constant barrage of questions and concerns and she always made me feel heard and supported. She would come to check on my husband even when he was not her patient. She would also check on me and my son. Lindsay genuinely cared and offered a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, a smile, or anything else I needed. We cannot thank her enough for the care she gave, and how she made us feel during this life-changing experience. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Note: This is Lindsay's 2nd DAISY Award!
