My husband was very recently diagnosed with metastatic cancer that progressed very quickly. Lindsay took care of my husband while he was in the hospital on comfort care. She treated him with the utmost dignity and respect with every interaction. She talked to him when she repositioned him or provided any care, always using his name. She always checked on us every hour, we never had to go find someone to help us or have to call for help because we knew she would be there.
Our children and grandchildren visited and she took care of all of us, asking if we needed anything. When my husband passed away, Lindsay took care of everything for us. She made all of the calls and didn't rush us at all to leave. She made us feel comfortable and that we could take all of the time we needed to say our goodbyes. We felt like she truly cared about us.
Lindsay is an Extraordinary Nurse. She made a very hard time much easier to bear.
