My husband passed away from stage-4 lung cancer that had metastasized to the lymph nodes. His vital organs all shut down. Although he had many wonderful nurses, and I thank all of them for the care he received, Lindsay and he had a special bond. Lindsay from Palliative care is a true DAISY Nurse as she took the extra time to call and ask how my husband was and to see how I was doing the day after he passed. So, thanks to all of you, and especially you Lindsay, for taking that extra moment that meant so much.
