I work as a unit secretary in Labor and Delivery and have the pleasure to see Lindsay in action all the time. Most recently I had the opportunity to shadow her as a nursing student. Lindsay inspired me with her attention to detail. She takes the time to make sure that anything her hands touch gets completed regardless of whether it is her responsibility or not. She displays leadership and is aware of all the moving parts on our unit even on days she isn’t charge. I’ve seen her calm under pressure and delegate appropriately. Observing her, I can see that she cares about our hospital and all the patients that she comes in contact with. Lindsay has had life-altering events happen in her personal life, yet you would never know it because at work she gives her patients 100% of herself. It’s nurses like Lindsay who make me feel proud to be a part of White Rock Medical Center.
