Lindsey goes far above and beyond to make sure that both the patients and the staff members in her care have the best possible outcomes. Every time she works she makes rounds on all of the patients on the floor to make sure all of their needs have been met. I have received multiple compliments from patients and family members describing how helpful and knowledgeable she is when they have questions about procedures and various tests ordered by their doctors. She is the first one to jump up and answer a bed alarm and to help answer call lights. She is always aware of what is happening on the floor and will pitch in to help in whatever capacity is needed. She is very diligent to keep up with new employees and is a great mentor for them. I have also had multiple coworkers and other staff members tell me how much she helps them and how appreciative they are of her. She always has a smile on her face and a positive attitude even in difficult situations. She is compassionate, caring, and a great resource for both patients and employees. Several of the Physicians have complimented her ability to handle difficult situations and keep everything running smoothly. She is a team player who will come and help any time she is asked if at all possible. Even today, I witnessed her helping a Physician find documentation notes which were needed for one of the patients. She is extremely organized and very diligent when it comes to providing excellent patient care and I believe very deserving of this award.
