Lindsay made me feel right at home and took me under her wing as a mother would do that day. That is something I'll never forget.
I had the best experience of having my first child at Vanderbilt Lebanon. First of all, we had our child during COVID, which is very scary in itself let alone it was our first baby. We were told no visitors, which I understood, but it was extremely hard. My Mom has always been right there with me through everything, so not having her or my Dad in there was a struggle.
Lindsay was my nurse on the day shift that took care of me as my mother would. Any time I needed anything, she was there to help. I was crying because, after being in labor for so long, I was told I was having a C-section. I understood but was extremely scared. Lindsay made me feel right at home and took me under her wing as a mother would do that day. That is something I'll never forget. She cried with me and was so informative about the C-section. All the nurses and doctors were wonderful, and I'll never forget what they did and how wonderfully they all treated me. It was a blessing to be in such good care. It made me and my husband feel much better. I'm forever grateful for these wonderful people. All the nurses and doctors that took care of me deserve the best. God sure did bless them with a kind heart. Our baby boy is doing great, and we couldn't be any happier. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
