Lindsay has taken care of my husband for several days in the CICU. She is kind, compassionate and takes the time to explain what she is doing. When she noticed I was having an especially bad day, she took the time to stop and listen to me and ask if she could do anything for me. She always spoke directly to my husband when providing care. She showed concern that he not get foot drop while lying in bed, made sure to check his skin breakdowns and listened to my concerns about his care. She never left the room without asking first if she could do anything or I needed anything.
