Lindsay was selected in recognition of her work with the Emergency Department Director in implementing the Direct Bedding and Vertical Treatment concept in the Emergency Department at St. Helena Hospital Clear Lake. By implementing these concepts, more patients are being seen in the ED with a decreased wait time and the number of patients who leave without being seen has dropped below 2%. Lindsay not only made a significant difference in the life of one patient, she made a difference for all of the many patients who enter our system on a daily basis.
