Lindsey is a very caring and compassionate nurse. She is extremely knowledgeable and advocates for her patients to receive the best care possible. She is also very kind to her patients and gets to know them personally. One occasion that Lindsey went above and beyond was on a patient's birthday. She went to the bistro and purchased a chocolate muffin with her own money and gathered staff members from many departments. Staff from nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, EVS, and management all went to the patient's bedside and sang "Happy Birthday." The patient did not have any visitors yet that day and was smiling ear to ear. She was very appreciative and visibly happy with the acknowledgment of her birthday. She also hung a Happy Birthday sign in the patient's room. This is just one example of how Lindsey treats her patients. She is an asset to our team and we are very lucky to work with her!
