Lindsay was attentive, kind, and managed my anxiety and my family's during an unexpected time in an unfamiliar place. She was professional and reassuring providing information in a timely fashion and anticipatory of our questions and concerns. As a nurse, I recognized just how seamless she was.
My daughter and I came to the area to tour colleges and I unexpectedly became ill. I was seen in the ER and diagnosed with appendicitis. I was transferred and Lindsay was my nurse. She was incredibly kind and reassuring and able to gather information from my surgeon. Overall the interdisciplinary approach was impressive. Lindsay returned in the day and was helpful in providing my discharge and made sure we had what we needed. She was very compassionate and kind and she exemplified what a great nurse is!
