Lindsey Brookmire, RN

Lindsey is a wonderful co-worker and asset to the Mother Infant Unit. One stand-out moment was when my patient was experiencing a post-partum hemorrhage. Lindsey went above and beyond to support me and my patient. She helped communicate with the doctor, administer medications, gather supplies, perform fundal checks, weigh pads and quantify blood loss, etc. That was just one instance that Lindsey’s compassion and skill showed through. She doesn’t complain about her assignment and frequently volunteers to take the first admission or even an extra patient. She often picks up extra shifts to fill in staffing holes and fills in for charge role when needed. Even when I am in charge, she does tasks to help lighten my load. Her willingness to help does not go unnoticed!
