When Lindsey Constenius was taking care of our daughter recently, we chatted about our daughter's family dog. We told her stories about how much they loved each other and how sad they were that they hadn't seen each other in weeks. She was so moved by our story that she immediately reached out to her manager to see if there was a way to get our dog in to visit our daughter. Pretty quickly, we were granted permission to bring our dog to the PICU to see her. It was a heartwarming moment - and it turned out to be our daughter's last day of her life. Knowing that she got to see her dog meant a lot to us. The fact that Lindsey went above and beyond to make this dream happen was amazing. It was truly an act of love and compassion on her part. Thank you, Lindsey, for helping to make some really warm, loving moments on our daughter's last day.
