August 2023 Honoree
Lindsey Grant, RN
This was my first hospital stay ever outside of giving birth. Lindsey was literally the best. So down to earth and the sweetest person. I looked forward to her shift every day of my stay at MMC. After my surgery, I felt really sticky and disgusting, especially in my private areas. I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t wash myself and I kept voicing how disgusting I felt, and she offered to wipe down my private area for me! She really did her best to make me feel as comfortable as possible, and I will forever appreciate that. She really touched my heart and made me feel that if circumstances were different and we’d met elsewhere we could actually be friends! Did I say she had the best personality? Literally made me laugh and smile continuously.
Lindsey if you’re reading this, I’d like to thank you for being such a beautiful human being (they’re rare these days). I hope you have a beautifully blessed and happy life with your fiancé/new husband and wish you nothing but joy and happiness. Please don’t ever change.
