My patient suffered a 19-week loss and was admitted for premature rupture of membranes with her 19-week twins. She delivered her first baby several days before, and shortly after we arrived for our shift, she delivered her second baby girl. Lindsey went above and beyond to help this patient have the sweetest keepsakes for her precious baby girl. She took her time, made sure to include the patient and her husband in certain choices that they could make for their daughter, and really showed the patient how much she cared about their input. I know it meant the world to the patient and I was so thankful for her help because it allowed me to focus on the patient's needs while she was helping the baby. I know this patient will never forget the compassion and kindness Lindsey showed them and their sweet baby girl.
