My 67-year-old husband, P, was diagnosed with a rare and serious cancer - cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). We started chemo treatments in March and worked with a few nurses for care, and they were all very good. We developed a rapport and understanding when being supported by Lindsey. We are now in the seventh treatment cycle over a five-month treatment program. We really appreciate how she reviews her records before the appointment starts, keeps meticulous notes of any concerns raised during the visit, and always has a cheerful and positive approach in our patient/nurse exchanges. We appreciated how she invested time of her own to understand P's rare cancer symptoms to be able to better support what he has been feeling. As she now understood our situation, she was able to make more efficient suggestions for comfort during the hospital visit. We also loved how she volunteered information so we could better understand the treatment she was administering. She was able to perform above and beyond expectations as our nurse during these treatments. We recently heard positive updates from our surgeon and oncologist about my husband's condition and shared this with Lindsey as part of ‘Team P’ on the road to recovery.
