When caring for a toddler on 2 West, the mother of the patient began telling me about how much she "loved and missed" Lindy. Lindy took the time to sit and listen to the patient's mother talk about her son, her fears, being a single mother and her goals in life. The mother began crying and when asked why, she told me, "Lindy gave me exactly what I needed and treated me like family. I will ask for her every time I am here".
