Linnea is a true example of what the nursing profession is all about. Despite the chaos of the day and the never-ending demands of her patients and physicians, she manages to go the extra mile to make her patients feel special. All in one shift I witnessed this compassionate young lady sing aloud "Happy Birthday "(in its entirety) to one of her patients, speak Italian to one of her patient's family members who had taught her the phrase in a previous shift (the woman was so excited and proud she reached out and hugged Linnea) and at the height of the chaos of the shift, she managed to gather as many staff members as she could to send off a patient who was leaving and had become an all-around favorite. These are the moments that our patients will never forget and the reason SNHHS is such an amazing place to work! Never let anyone dull your sparkle! You rock!
