My mother was admitted to the step-down unit. She had a robotic lap Nissen and has dementia. She can be a little difficult at times. Linsey was extremely patient and kind to my mother. Not only was she kind, but she was also extremely professional. As a retired nursing instructor, I felt like I was watching a student during check-offs. She did EVERYTHING a nurse should do during a full body assessment, and she did it with the ease of a seasoned nurse. Not only did she take excellent care of my mother, but she also made sure I was comfortable as well.
She is obviously a nurse for all the right reasons. I could tell by the activity on the floor that they were very busy, yet she never acted rushed or even let on to the fact that she was busy, as some nurses and therapists do. She is an excellent ambassador for BMH-NM and a true DAISY Nurse.

Thank you, Linsey, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
