Linu Mathew is a very compassionate nurse who cared for me with integrity and accountability during a recent one-week long stay at Houston Methodist.
She was my nurse for 3 different shifts. If she told me she would do something for me, I was guaranteed that would happen. She was honest with me when I needed honesty and compassionate when I needed a little boost. She is very kind, soft-spoken and extremely competent in her role as my nurse and patient advocate. It was very clear to me that she was driving toward excellence to surpass my expectations of that day's outcome. She treated me with such respect, always taking the time to listen to my questions or thoughts, and including me in my plan of care formulation. I was honored to be her patient.
