Lisa was caring for a patient in poor spirits due to pain, diagnosis and being unable to celebrate the holidays. She also had a patient who was sad because they couldn't receive flowers. Lisa was not even working the next day, but made both patients cupcakes that had icing that looked like roses. We honor Lisa's compassion for our patients!
She is a great teammate and I couldn't ask for a better representation of what compassionate nursing is.
