Lisa Armour, RN, MSc
This leader is an exceptional individual whose qualities and efforts have been recognised and rewarded with her becoming the first Advanced Nurse Practitioner to become a Nurse Consultant in Paediatric Orthopaedics.
She now leads a team of Advanced Nurse Practitioners and is a role model, working exceptionally hard with both her clinical work and the strategic side her new role brings.
Her patients love her and the care and treatment she delivers is World Class. Her nursing team respects her and will often come to her to talk through difficulties and concerns they may have, showing how approachable she is, and how she will always make time for people.
She is always thinking of ways by which she can improve our service, and in particular, the patient experience, and this in turn motivates those around her to strive to do better. I cannot think of anyone more worthy of such an award.
