Lisa consistently works as the charge nurse and has taken on responsibilities that go above and beyond that role. She has played a pivotal role on weekends that facilitated consistent communication between doctors and staff and ensured smooth coordination among team members. She actively facilitates communication between nurses, physicians, and support staff, which is crucial for maintaining efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
An example of her outstanding commitment to CRMH is during several power outages that occurred. Lisa played a pivotal role in the ability to identify a potentially serious safety issue at Mt. Holly regarding a disgruntled ex-boyfriend of the patient’s daughter who assaulted the patient and daughter, resulting in charges being brought against the assailant. After the incident, the assailant escaped and was wanted by the police. This information was not disclosed during the admission. Lisa was able to obtain all the information from the patient regarding the incident when she was her patient on the weekend. Lisa immediately alerted the House Supervisor and Security, which resulted in heightened alertness and appropriate safety protocols for Mt. Holly.
