Lisa is a highly skilled, compassionate and critical thinker who is the ultimate patient advocate. She follows her instincts to do what is best for patients and families. She handles all emergencies with tact, sensitivity and professionalism. She is able to cooperate and communicate with other team members in order to provide the best and safest care at all times.
Lisa shows commitment to continued growth in both herself and the hospital by participating in the Joint Clinical Practice Council and the Day Surgery Partnership Council. She works with other nurses to complete audits, invoke process change and search out new evidence-based practices. She is one of a few nurses who takes on the lead role in our pre-op phone call clinic. She also helps to make the pre-op clinic more efficient.
