I am honored to recognize Lisa Boettcher for the extraordinary care, compassion, and dedication she brings to her role in pre-anesthesia/surgical services care every day.
Lisa consistently goes above and beyond for her patients and families, ensuring that each individual feels supported, informed, and cared for throughout what can often be an anxious experience. She excels in care coordination, seamlessly collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive timely, safe, and individualized care. Her attention to detail and proactive communication help prevent delays and improve the overall patient experience.
Beyond her clinical excellence, Lisa is a strong advocate for her patients. She takes the time to listen to concerns, answer questions thoroughly, and ensure that every patient feels heard and respected. She has worked on developing the “Let’s Cope Together (LCT)” plan for our patients who have autism and works with their families/child life on developing a seamless plan for their surgical procedure. Her calm demeanor, caring attitude, and genuine compassion create a sense of comfort and trust for both patients and families.
Lisa is also deeply committed to quality and process improvement initiatives within the department. She continually seeks opportunities to improve workflows, enhance patient safety, and support team efficiency. Her leadership and dedication to excellence positively impact not only individual patients, but the entire surgical/perioperative team.
What truly sets Lisa apart is the positivity she brings to every interaction. She approaches even the busiest and most challenging days with a smile, kindness, and unwavering professionalism. Her warmth and encouragement uplift both her colleagues and the patients she serves.
