Lisa Bridgers, BSN, RN

A new physician in the ED at HUP described her impression of Lisa Bridgers. They met during a busy shift when Lisa was pulled to the ED for a 1:1 nursing assignment for a critical patient that was a MICU hold. Despite working in a department that she doesn't frequent too often she was professional, pleasant, and most importantly she ensured exceptional care was delivered to our critical patient. She frequently communicated to the team reliable clinical information as the patient's condition needed constant monitoring. She advocated for frequent reassessments of our patient and her professionalism was responsible for the immediate sense of teamwork amongst all providers for our critical patient. Lisa Bridgers is a great example of what the Penn Medicine Experience is all about!
