The Birth Center had a Stat C-Section that quickly turned emergent for the second delivered twin. Lisa consistently is calm and able to provide excellent resuscitation for newborns. Her communication is clear and supportive. During this event, she was not working as staff, but rather as the Lactation Nurse. She immediately jumped in to help, then after an hour or so, went back to a lactation visit. She entered that visit with the parents and made them feel welcome and comfortable. Her ability to address and adapt to different situations is highly unique.
