Medical-Surgical/Orthopedic
CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs
Lisa worked with pharmacy and HMS to get medication changed to one that only cost $20 and that patient could afford and ensured the patient had medication at home.
I had been prescribed Ambien to sleep because I have a hard time sleeping in hospitals. I started having weird dreams and hallucinating. I thought people were outside and coming in to get me and were in the room with me. Lisa assured me that no one will get me. Also had dreams that I need to save people and Lisa assured me they were safe. Lisa also assured me that my food was not poisoned. She was the best. Otherwise, I would've flipped out without her!

Lisa worked with pharmacy and HMS to get medication changed to one that only cost $20 and that patient could afford and ensured the patient had medication at home. This could have possibly been a readmission if the patient had not filled the medication. Lisa has been recognized by multiple patients for providing excellent care. She has been identified as having good humor and connecting with patients and their families and advocating for the patient's best interests. Lisa has been recognized as providing excellent care to our older adults especially our end-of-life patients.
