Lisa got on the patient's level instead of standing over her to talk. Lisa knew exactly how the patient likes her ostomy bag emptied. Lisa de-escalated the situation calmly and efficiently. Lisa built trust and rapport with this patient in just under 8 hrs. Lisa exemplifies every trait Florence Nightingale wanted and looked for nurses to become.
