Lisa is an amazing patient advocate and goes above and beyond to help them, even when despite their best efforts they are unable to follow through with medical management. Today, she worked with a particularly difficult patient with multiple medical and social detriments to her health and despite this, she treated the patient with absolute respect, took her time to really review all questions of care with the patient, and did everything in her best efforts to try and keep the patient inhouse for her complete evaluation.

Lisa did not let such social deterrents to the patient's health affect her judgment or care of the patient while she was seen in Sonoran Crossing. She is compassionate, and caring, and sets the bar extremely high for the amazing nursing care that we are able to provide at Honor Health Sonoran. I wish to bring light to her accomplishments with this, but also that each patient encounter I have had with her has been consistently at the highest level of care. I am constantly enthralled by the care of our labor and delivery unit at Sonoran, and when staff is "caught doing something good" I wish to highlight such actions on an organizational level.
