Lisa Crosby, BSN, RN, CPN

The definition of brilliance is exceptional talent or skill but it also means intense brightness of light. It is rare to find something or someone that fits both definitions of the word fluidly, yet Lisa Crosby exceeds the definition. Lisa is the most compassionate and compelling person I have had the chance to work with. She brings a light full of love and laughter into what can be a challenging workplace. Lisa’s care for our patients and their families is genuine and considerate, the staff and our patients all adore having Lisa on shift. She makes sure we all smile at least once throughout our shift.

Lisa has been with CHCO for twenty years and is truly great at her job, she takes pride in her career. A time that I commonly reflect on that Lisa was an outstanding nurse was when we had a septic kiddo come into our facility, the child was nonverbal and delayed. Lisa was quick to get medications and vitals while I worked on the access, Lisa helped our patient stay and explained to the family what was happening. She kept staff and the family calm and relaxed during a stressful time. I really appreciate all you do Lisa!
