Lisa was recognized as a caring and giving nurse by the family of a patient that she cared for. The patient was hungry and did not want anything offered. Lisa was moved to go buy the patient some food that she felt she would enjoy. Lisa, paid for this meal out of her own pocket and took it to the patient. The son of the patient was so moved by Lisa's kindness and compassion that he wanted to nominate Lisa as a way of thanking her for the gift that she gives every day.
