A new cancer diagnosis and starting chemotherapy is a scary time for a patient."I know with 100% certainty that without Lisa's kindness and support I would not have continued treatment". This patient was referring to her Infusion Nurse, Lisa, who would be providing her chemotherapy for her newly diagnosed cancer.
Lisa was able to provide this patient the reassurance and guidance she needed to make it through her treatments. Lisa has forever made a difficult time much easier for this patient.This patient truly believes that Lisa was a "godsend" who she will never forget. "The world is a better place because of people like her."
