My husband and I were blown away by the care we received throughout our hospital stay while welcoming our first child. I am a nurse and even though I work here at the hospital, I am still so impressed by the staff on Labor and Delivery and Maternity.
However, one nurse that stands out was our 11-7 nurse, Lisa Roberts. My labor was nothing like I anticipated, and I truly do not think I would've made it through without Lisa's compassion, knowledge, and empathy. My husband and myself were scared as labor took a turn but Lisa remained calm and talked us through every step to make us feel so supported.
When our son was born, Lisa stayed right with me as I was still with the Doctor, holding my hand and providing reassurance. I had such fear of the unknown delivery during a pandemic, but Lisa went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and safe. She is a fantastic Nurse and truly cares for those she takes care of. Lisa even came down the next night to check in on us while we were on Maternity.

We are forever grateful to Lisa and cannot thank her enough!
