Lisa Delia was discharging a first time mom who could not afford an electric breast pump. This patient had recently moved to Michigan from California and had no friends or family near by. Lisa took her phone number and brought her a brand new breast pump that one of her own family was willing to donate. Since the patient could not drive, Lisa brought the pump to her apartment. This meant a lot to the patient and helped her stick with breastfeeding.
