We had a patient D for about 3 months. Lisa cared for her a great deal. When D would be depressed, Lisa always had words of encouragement. She also included the family. D's son stated he was eating a lot of fast food. Lisa asked what he missed most. He said his mom's spaghetti and meatballs. Lisa's family owns an Italian Restaurant. She did bring a spaghetti and meatball meal. Not only did he enjoy it, but it also made D happy that someone thought about her family.
