Lisa supported me during a difficult day and let me know she will always have my back when it comes to staff. Lisa is supportive of each and every staff member here. Always willing to jump in and help at any moment. Lisa will listen to suggestions and is willing to try something new if it will help improve staff conditions and/or patient satisfaction. Lisa encourages us to imagine ourselves in the patient’s position and treat our patients as we would expect to be treated. This behavior encourages our vision and supports a trusting and genuine environment of caring for our community. She listens and follows up with any suggestions and always incorporates the needs of both patients and staff into her decisions.

Lisa exudes enthusiasm and kindness in her daily practice toward patients and staff. She is reasonable and fair. She addresses difficult situations with calmness and constructive solutions. She is truly an exemplary leader. I have worked in Endo for most of my nursing career. Lisa shines as a manager.

As a travel nurse, Lisa has made it very easy to transition to the different roles in the department and the unit as a whole has been very welcoming. Lisa is a champion for the nurses she leads; always willing to lend a helping hand, or even just listen. She has worked tirelessly to get new equipment for our physicians and ensure cutting-edge technology and best practice for our patients.

As physicians, we always know we have a person in our corner when there are issues with system practices, and she works tirelessly to assure problems are corrected in a timely fashion. She is connected to the 'day to day' activity and reality of what's going on in our department--she lobbies for what makes sense, which is refreshing.

A nursing student adds, "Lisa is always going out of her way to educate me and bring me in on interesting opportunities. I have learned so much from her and I know I will take away everything she has taught me in my future endeavors. When her staff have personal hardships and are in need of emotional support, she has always made us feel 100% supported no matter the situation. She is fair and kind and encouraging. She is always willing to fight for this team and patients alike. Ms. Lisa is a wonderful leader who is willing to listen and work to meet the needs of the endoscopy staff. She is also flexible and easy to work with and champions the patients' benefits. Lisa's door is always open for you to share your concerns whether it’s about work or personal reasons. She goes above and beyond to help us as a team and unit. We know we are a big family, and she helps this occur. She knows when to be hard and strict but balances it with care.

Lisa is a hands-on supportive supervisor. Attentive and aware of her department and the need for a department to be functional. I haven't been in the department for long, although it has been very welcoming. Before applying to the department, I heard all positive feedback in regard to Lisa's management. Thank you for working so hard for each of us. Lisa is a great example of management. Lisa is an amazing nurse and manager. She is always willing to step in at the bedside in any way needed.
