We have a patient that has been here for over two months spending Thanksgiving and Christmas. The patient has been depressed. Before Christmas Lisa came on her day off and decorated his room with a Christmas tree and lights. She is a caring and compassionate nurse. She is one of many nurses who offer the best care to our patients. The physicians like when she is in the unit because they know that "she offers excellent care to our patients". Lisa recently became certified in her specialty, is part of our unit-based council and the hospital committee for diabetes best practices. She is a patient advocate and educator.
