Lisa has been the lead RN on my husband's team all through the transplantation process. She followed and directed him, and me as caregiver, from day -35 to day +100. She is totally reliable and she understands her patients and caregivers level of confidence and need, and could very professionally adapt her involvement to our particular personalities, in such a way that we could function through the whole process at our best. I believe this is a high level of professionalism.

Dealing with cancer is a stressful experience and for me, one of the most stressful events is waiting for test results. Lisa has multiple patients, yet she takes it upon herself to call me with test results rather than making me wait for the next team meeting. I feel that I am not alone once I leave the clinic because she always tells me to just call if I have questions.
She is caring and an excellent teacher, answering questions with supreme patience. She makes me feel like I am the only patient she sees on any given day.
Lisa exemplifies what a registered nurse should be, a caring, compassionate individual that all team members should emulate.
