At the Christ Hospital, there are values that we uphold every day primarily for our patients and their families. From ensuring that our patient's safety comes first to making sure they receive the most efficient care possible, none of this would be made possible without the help of some of the most committed and compassionate nurses in our network. Out of this great group of nurses lies one excellent example of everything we stand for, a rare personality that a few people are blessed with in the medical scene.

Lisa Gallagher upholds our standards as her own. Her passion for her work shines brightly in front of anyone who has the privilege of working with, and being cared for by her. Lisa's soft spoken nature and kindness is very contagious and absolutely encouraging to others and her leadership skill as Charge Nurse shows off her years of exceptional experience and knowledge. Never have I seen a day where Lisa applies less than 100% in any task that's set in front of her. Everyone who speaks of her puts her in high regard and knows that when she's in charge the night will go smoothly and the patients on the floor is in very good hands.

She is never afraid to get her hands dirty and she is always open to help anyone, PCA or Nurse, who may be in need of help. Lisa always keeps a very calm composure in any situation that happens instantaneously, which is very ensuring to those who work under her. When Lisa Gallagher is working, people knows that they have her support and they can lean on her for anything they need, from advice to physical support such as direct patient care. She is loved and appreciated by her patients and staff alike and therefore earns a spot for every award that honors the deeds of a wonderful and loving nurse, especially the coveted DAISY Award.
