Lisa Hampton-Spragg, BSN, RN

My husband received craniotomy surgery and was located on the ninth floor (ICU non-respirator) section and remained in that unit for 12 days. During his stay, he had several nurses but Lisa was above all others. Lisa was so patient, understanding and had a sunny disposition each and every day even when the section was a little short-staffed. Lisa was sunshine to our day, always taking the time to talk with both of us and even asking my name as the spouse and making sure it was listed on the room's information board. She remembered information about my husband's likes and dislikes and would joke with him. Whether she came to the room or called over the phone she always made us feel like our needs and concerns were important. Never did we feel like he was a number or an inconvenience during his stay on the ninth floor. I would say that Lisa was a 12 on a 10 scale just excellent in each and every way she could be!
