Lisa truly represents the meaning of being a nurse. She goes above and beyond for the patients, staff members, and families. Lisa strives for excellence and patient safety. She is very educated in current research and one of the best preceptors in our unit. Lisa is also a member of the PICC and transport team. She is a strong charge nurse and has excellent bedside manner. The parents truly feel comfortable with Lisa taking care of the infants due to her love and compassion. As a staff nurse, I enjoy coming to work when Lisa is here. She is always positive and willing to lend a hand even when we are short staffed. With current patient ratios of 3:1, Lisa always does her best to make sure all care is performed on time and that everyone is up-to-date. Working with Lisa is a privilege and I am glad to call her my co-worker.
