I was lucky enough to have Lisa as my RN several times. My story was especially difficult for me because my stomach problems had caused my psych meds to be out of kilter, and this led to thoughts of suicide. On top of this, I had to leave my service dog at home because he was ill, and I was worried about him. Lisa never failed to treat the whole person and ask how I was feeling psychologically and how Samson was doing. This simple kindness made my stay much more bearable.
