Nurse Lisa was WONDERFUL! She went well above and beyond in providing information and explanations about what was happening and why. She treated my wife as if she was her own relative and attended to her every need and want. She took extraordinary measures to provide treatments and advise us when she was performing her duties. An example of her diligence and care was the way she monitored the oxygen saturation levels of my wife and made constant adjustments to keep the rate steady. At shift change following her 12-hour shift, she took the time to introduce the oncoming staff member to her previous actions, medications, and issues in the presence of the entire family. (Shocked the entire family as this has NEVER happened to any of us in ANY previous hospitalizations.) Her personality and actions made us feel important and CARED for as valued humans and not just another patient and family.
