We were induced and labored for nearly 24 hours before our little M was born. As soon as Lisa came into the room, we knew that we had a true loving warrior on our side. She made us feel confident that every need we had would be fulfilled. Lisa purposefully asked us a variety of questions to get to know us. This allowed her to serve us in very specific ways, tailored directly to our situation. We wanted to try a variety of birthing positions and Lisa was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. During the most difficult parts of labor, Lisa was both positively encouraging and honest at the same time. This perfect combination kept us aware of our progress while also motivating us in the roughest parts of the process. Words cannot express how much of a blessing it was to have Lisa as our nurse.
