Lisa is a nurse who is loyal to her team, her patients, and to her community. She’s a nurse for all the right reasons. She’s committed to excellence. She listens to her patients and is an advocate for them. She confers with her CNA to execute the best plan of care. She respects everyone around her. She has the utmost integrity, and I look up to her for that. She always shows up to work, stays late when needed, and picks up shifts to help out in a crisis or a need. She has been inclusive with the traveling nurses and shares her knowledge of the unit and community with them. If I were to be a patient here at WCGH, I would be honored to have Lisa be my nurse and advocate.

I first started in the ICU at Waldo approximately 4 months ago and Lisa oriented me and has been a wonderful teacher, mentor, and co-worker. While working with Lisa I have witnessed her work as charge on the medical-surgical floor when needed. She is part of shared governance, works as a hospital supervisor, and is now orienting a student RN. Lisa is a kind and compassionate and well-experienced RN who is a valuable asset to WCGH. She is always picking up extra shifts and filling in wherever needed in all capacities. She is the best co-worker who is always happy and upbeat and has been a wonderful mentor to me as new-to-ICU RN.
