There will never be enough words to thank Lisa or to even begin to describe the true difference she made to my care.

Lisa has been supporting me during my 5th pregnancy. Sadly, my four previous pregnancies have resulted in a loss. Therefore, this pregnancy involved lots of anxiety, worry, fear, grief, and ‘what ifs.’

However, with Lisa’s support, she helped deliver my son in a positive, person-centred, trauma-informed way. She consistently went over and beyond to ensure that we were heard and listened to. Her compassion, sensitivity, and genuine kindness will never be forgotten. She held my hand whilst I cried, she offered guidance whilst at my lowest points, and advocated on my behalf when I felt I couldn’t.

Lisa is a true inspiration to her profession. As a healthcare partitioner myself, often people may forget a name but not how you made them feel. I will never forget Lisa or the way she made us feel during our journey.

My son will learn about Lisa and what she did for our family.
