This professor was so gracious throughout the entire program. She always had patience with our group as we went through stressful times throughout the year. Between exams and long clinical days, she always made sure we were taken care of. This professor would check in often and truly cared for her students. She would also make herself available on weekends and schedule study days throughout the week to make sure we were ready for our exams.

This professor was our voice when we weren’t being heard. She is incredibly knowledgeable and was enjoyable to learn from. There were always laughs to be had during class and lab. There was never a silly question, she always answered the best she could and if she didn’t know, she would research it. This professor also showed great compassion to patients as we went through clinicals. To say Professor Thuerauf is an incredible nurse role model is an understatement. I wish there were more instructors like this in the world!
