I am a 69-year-old female, and this is my second go-around with breast cancer. The first being in 03 right breast, this time left breast. From my very first visit, Lisa made me feel very comfortable as she explained everything to me. Lisa would stop and ask if I had any questions so far. Lisa was so kind to me and listened to what I had to say even if it was off-topic. It makes you feel so comfortable when you can have a normal conversation at a time when you already have been through the breast surgery and now are about to get zapped with radiation.
Every time Lisa saw me during the 20 treatments she would ask how I felt, if I was using the cream if the sunburn hurt or I was swollen. She reminded me to stay out of the sun. When I had a question she always had the answer or found it. The nursing world should have a million Lisa's. She will always have a special place in my heart!
