I nominate Lisa McAuley for the DAISY Award. Not only is she beautiful and caring but she is also compassionate and deserving. I knew when I first met Lisa she was going to be my favorite nurse. Not too many nurses care about their patients the way she does. When I find a person I know cares, I want to make sure he or she is recognized.
Lisa is very special in many ways: outstanding, with and with a heart of gold. When I see her face it is as if I am looking at an Angel. I know everything is going to be okay when she is here.
I would like thank you Lisa because its nurses like you that make sick people like me know that everything is okay. I really appreciate everything you have done for me. You made my stay here extraordinary. I know I am hard to deal with but you never gave up on me. This shows how compassionate you are. There were times I wanted to check out AMA and I didn’t thanks to you. You are very special to me Lisa and God only knows that you are an Angel. You made a big impact on me because you know how to make a person feel hopeful. If anyone deserves the DAISY Award it’s you. Thank you very much; you made me feel very special.
